Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the OnlineDoc (DocEnLinea) platform — including the website, applications, APIs, and connection services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree, do not use the platform.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of service

OnlineDoc (DocEnLinea) is a telemedicine connection platform. We connect platforms, medical offices, compounding pharmacies, and labs with a network of licensed medical reviewers in Mexico, via video, voice, or data review. OnlineDoc does not provide medical services, nor offer medical information, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not market medications, therapies, or procedures. Our services include:

• Connection infrastructure via video, voice, and data review between patients and medical reviewers.
• Portals for partner platforms, medical offices/reviewers, and patients, plus API integration.
• Facilitation of the capture and recording of informed consent.
• Coordination, where appropriate, with partner compounding pharmacies and labs.

3. Requirements for use

To use the platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent.
• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and use of the platform.
• Not use the platform for illegal purposes or in violation of these terms.
• Not impersonate another person.

4. Not an emergency service

OnlineDoc is NOT an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately. The platform does not replace urgent in-person care or ambulance services.

5. Physician-patient relationship

The physician-patient relationship is established directly between the patient and the licensed medical reviewer. OnlineDoc only provides the connection infrastructure and does not intervene in clinical decisions or the medical act.

The medical reviewer may, at their independent clinical discretion, determine that a case requires in-person evaluation and refer the patient to a specialist or emergency service.

6. Prescriptions and medications

Where appropriate, prescriptions are issued independently by the licensed medical reviewer, not by OnlineDoc. Furthermore:

• OnlineDoc does not prescribe, dispense, or sell medications.
• Coordination with compounding pharmacies and labs is handled through authorized third parties.
• Treatment compliance is the responsibility of the patient and their treating physician.
• Never share your prescription or medications with third parties.

7. Commercial terms

The economic terms applicable to partner platforms, medical offices, compounding pharmacies, and labs are set out in the corresponding commercial agreement between OnlineDoc and each party. Prices and conditions are not published on this site.

Any charge to the end patient is determined by the platform or medical office the patient contracts with, not by OnlineDoc.

8. Intellectual property

All platform content — including text, designs, logos, branding, code, and educational materials — is owned by DocEnLinea or its licensors and is protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use any platform content without prior written authorization.

9. Privacy and personal data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice in compliance with Mexico's LFPDPPP. By using the platform, you grant express consent for the processing of sensitive health data.

10. Limitation of liability

OnlineDoc provides the technology platform "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee specific clinical outcomes from any protocol or consultation.
• We are not liable for technical interruptions, data loss due to force majeure, or third-party failures.
• We do not assume responsibility for patient non-compliance with medical instructions.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

11. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false medical information that could affect your diagnosis or treatment.
• Record, capture, or share video consultations without the physician's consent.
• Use the platform to obtain prescriptions fraudulently.
• Interfere with the technical operation of the platform.
• Harass, threaten, or treat healthcare professionals disrespectfully.

12. Suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service.
• You provide false or fraudulent information.
• Your conduct endangers the safety of other users or the medical team.
• Required by a court order or competent authority.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the platform, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
